Red for “stop” makes sense. Red stands for caution. Fire is red. That’s about as cautionary as you can get in the world of colors. As for yellow for “stop if you can, it’s about to turn red,” that makes sense, too. There’s yellow in fire, too. Come to think of it, fire is usually a mixture of red and yellow. So far, so good.

It’s a lazy Sunday morning and I have yet to get dressed. I’m spending some time going through my emails, checking my spam folders for anything important that may have slipped through the cracks and researching whatever comes to mind that interests me. In short, I am doing nothing in particular.
I have company. My gray, Russian Blue cat, Violet, has decided to hang out with me. She has installed herself on my lap.
And it is nice. Very nice.
