Sand and sandals do not mix, and I’ll tell you why.  For starters, have you ever tried walking in sand wearing sandals?  It’s hard!  Sand seeps in between your feet and the shoe bed and makes you feel like you’re walking on glass with suction cups.  It is exhausting!

I took my first trip to Paris with my French Club in 1984 during my senior year of high school.  We landed in Brussels, Belgium, then made our way into France.  During our ten-day trip, we made a circuit throughout the country,  stopping in several towns and cities along the way, including, of course, Paris.
